Getting Caught up

The second time around, the time is flying way faster than it seemed like with Harper. Crew is getting so big, so fast. He is officially 4 months old this month and tried his first baby food. His personality is coming out more and more and he loves to make his presence known. He is a little chatter box, and loves to be held. It only took us four months but we were able to catch his sweet smile on camera with his monthly pictures. Crew has moved into his big boy car seat and he seems to like it much more than that confining infant carrier.

We have been having a ton of fun with our indoor activities. We still keep in touch with our friends we met in Jamaica on our honeymoon. They don't live too terribly far from us, so for the first time in four years we were able to meet up with them. We each drove about four hours to the Crayola experience. It's funny how things work out, we met them the first day of our honeymoon, and they now have two kids just like us. Addi is a couple months younger than Harper, and Casen in a couple months older than Crew. It worked out perfectly and the kids had a blast. It's a pretty crazy that we flew a couple thousand miles, met great friends and we both live close enough to keep in touch! We are hopefully going to try and plan another get together this summer.

Crew made it to his first Hoyas game, and his father could not be more proud. We walked through the doors and little man couldn't keep his eyes off the court. All the noise, and lights he was thoroughly entertained.

We are looking forward to our favorite meal of the year. Thanksgiving is at our house this year and we are excited to have everyone at our house for all the festivities! Not to mention it will be nice that we can keep Crew on his routine and let him take naps in his bed at normal nap times. It's the little things that we are thankful for, but most of all our sweet babies and their health. Nothing better than being surround by our babes and having them healthy and happy. Enjoy your time with family and friends, Happy Thanksgiving, xoxo.

Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak of our first Christmas decorations, and our first Griffin Grabs of the season! I started with the kids rooms, and each got their own themed tree for their rooms and new Christmas sheets. Harper has a "Frozen" themed tree..obviously, and Crew has a woodland animals tree. All the links are for the items we used for both rooms! Snag them up and get your Christmas festivities started!

Halloween Hooplah

Happy Halloween! That's certainly what we had this week. Our Halloween celebrations lasted all week, starting with a preschool party! Harper our underwater princess was quite the sass, and Crew boy looked beyond cute in his chicken costume. We have filled our bellies with lots of candy and worn ourselves out with all the fun, but I'm thinking this candy has got to get gone since it's keeping our chatter bug up at night and extra chatty! Shew, if we could keep a word count on this child it would be an interesting statistic. All the same our year is trucking on and we are getting pumped for Christmas time, against Russ's wishes the Griffin house will be bursting with Christmas festive-ness before the end of the week! I mean it's Crew's first Christmas, we might as well go balls to the walls on our decor!
Much like the sugar consumption this week, enjoy our overload of Halloween pictures!

Stay tuned for all our Griffin Grabs for the holiday season! They are the must haves for Christmas!
