Spring Life

Spring is here or so we were told this weekend. We went to our first Easter egg hunt this weekend and we froze our little biscuits off to say the least. It was literally snowing while the kids were running around and we got back in the car asap. We had a good weekend seeing family that is here from Germany and we hosted dinner club this weekend. The house is getting full of super cute babies which I love, little people are my favorite thing and its always more fun with a bunch of babies around. The kids did a quick egg hunt here, clearly we are trying to squeeze in as many as we can before Sunday!

Harper had her preschool Easter party yesterday and they too were able to do an egg hunt outside and enjoy some yummy treats before their spring break next week!

Yesterday finally warmed up in the late afternoon and the goose and I were able to hang outside for a little bit while Harps napped. He was loving the warm temps he is definitely going to be an outdoor boy!

Today was even warmer and so I had to bust out the jump jump so the girls could get their bounce-house on! It's a tough life for two princess, they requested a picnic lunch that included hotdogs, grapes, a juice box, and chips. They dined on the back patio and requested the "waitress" bring them dessert. Ah I'm just the peasant around here..Hope you all are enjoying this finally spring weather we are having. We can't wait for the bunny to arrive this weekend! Have a great week! xoxo

Disney Mania

We just got back from the best ever Disney trip! We had a lot planned and as usual it went by way to quickly! I think the only disadvantage to going to Florida in March is wanting to move immediately when you get home. We left on the airplane and it was 90 in Orlando, then when we arrived in Baltimore it was a lovely 38 degrees. Ah...I mean Russ basically had to pry my hands out of my airplane seat, I was going to make another round trip back to Disney. I tell him constantly that I am more suited for the warm weather states :) The weeks leading up to the trip seemed like the dragged on and we were so busy and stressed that the trip could not get here soon enough. Harper and Crew both had colds, Harper got a double ear infection, Crew was getting a tooth on the bottom and was super fussy. Russ was slammed with work and on top of that got kidney stones that landed him in the hospital for two days. I was running around like a wild woman getting everything ready for a trip and Harper's birthday party while my clan was down and out. Needless to say we couldn't get to Florida quick enough. As always our Disney trip was the most magical time and we are already dreaming of our next trip. We took a whopping 599 pics so please enjoy the picture overload.

Harper turned 3! Three! How did that happen? It's funny when you have kids because it literally seems like I just gave birth but at the same time it seems like she has always been here and we don't remember what life was like without her! She is more than a dream come true and we are so blessed that we get to be her parents. She is brilliant, utterly hilarious, talks like a 25 year old and is the best person in our lives. Doing everything with her and seeing it through her eyes this time makes it a million times more magical. She makes every day perfect and I can't wait to see her grow and change. We wanted a special birthday for her and what is more perfect then the most magical place on earth?! We took the grandparents along and they were a huge help. Harper was so happy to go back to Disney and have all her peeps around her on her big day. She spent the day like any princess would getting pampered at Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique in the morning, a breakfast meet and greet with the princess and ending her day with Mickey and the gang at a character dinner, ah its a hard life.

Crew man utterly enjoyed himself! He is already the best baby, but he was so laid back and genuinely enjoyed every moment. He did not fuss at all and looked around with his big blue eyes and soaked it all in. Any character that came around he was obsessed with he would clap and wave and try to suck on what ever part of their costume he could reach. He particularly like the princess, can you blame him he is his father's child after all. Snow White particularly he took a liking too. She gave him a big red kiss on his cheek and he was sold after that, wouldn't take his eyes off of her! He loved the pool and warm weather and was in heaven with all the lights, sounds and treats he saw and ate all week! We were only there a week and it seemed like he aged six months. He started clapping, saying "dada" and trying to crawl all while we were there! Technically "mama" was his first word but Russ was in heaven when he started saying "dadadadada" all week! It was a big trip for our boy and we can't wait to take him back another year that he will remember!

Sadly, we are back in the swing of things and back in our 42 layers until it warms up here! None the less we are looking forward to the Easter bunny's visit and dreaming of sunshine and 80 degree weather (we do have 599 pictures to look at when we are feeling really cold). Hope everyone else is too! Enjoy!
